Ending Hunger—One Child at a Time

Many children who receive free or reduced lunches at school face hunger when the weekend comes. Our mission is to bridge that gap by providing nutritious weekend meals to children who might otherwise go without. By ensuring they return to school fed and ready to learn, we’re helping build a stronger, healthier future—one meal at a time. Join us in making sure no child goes hungry over the weekend.

How It Works

Each week, we partner with schools in the Burleson Independent School District to identify students who rely on free or reduced lunches and may need extra support when school is out. Volunteers pack and deliver bags filled with kid-friendly, nutritious, and easy-to-prepare food items. These bags are discreetly distributed to students before they leave school on Fridays, ensuring they have enough to eat until they return on Monday.
